Actor / Singer / Dancer / Foodie / Traveler
Christina Marie Fischer was born in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. She identifies as part Latina and is a proud descendant of ancestors from Colombia, Ireland, and Germany, to name a few. After singing, acting, and dancing her way from childhood to high school, Christy began her studies at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. After four years of intense training in stage acting, voice, music, and various styles of dance, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Musical Theatre. Christy now works and lives in New York City.
Since beginning her career, Christy has originated new musicals, performed in several theme park shows, acted in a web-series and most recently toured the country in TheaterWorks USA's 2nd National Tour of Rosie Revere, Engineer & Friends.
When she's not performing you can find Christy teaching theatre to kids, trying new recipes in the kitchen, obsessively talking up Trader Joe's, reading novels and traveling around the world.
